Lesson In Faith, accepting God's promise.
"A Lesson In Faith" As I watched them flit from one place to another, with very little effort, only a few wing beats, land on a small twig
protruding from the limb of a tree, tilting their head, and with a few pecks
wind up with something to eat.
I then realized at that moment God was giving me
a Lesson there before my eyes, a real life lesson in living color.
The birds I was watching were living proof that God does indeed make
sure we have what we need if we turn everything over to Him and accept
his promise.
Lesson In
Faith
The birds at the feeder flit with
delight, they've just found their breakfast after a cold winter's night.
They scramble about as they look for a space, and eat till their stuffed
in an act of disgrace.
We too are the same as we hurry
about, as we look for some food before we go out. The difference I feel
is the way that we think, birds in the morning only act on instinct.
We with our brain and our reasoning
power, think what's going to happen within the next hour. What kind of a
day will we have when we leave what's going to happen that will cause us to
grieve
Birds eat and retire to the woods
for the day to gobble up bugs and build homes of hay. We on the other
hand scramble about so full of fear and worry and doubt.
We fear the weather, the storms
and the clouds the trip on the way home the big city crowds. The size of
our pay check the bills as they grow we may even get sick what a world full
of woe.
But I wonder as I look with
amazement and glee as the birds flit about so happy and free. Were they
sent here to us from our Lord above, to show us the way of true freedom and
love.
So that we too can place our fears
at his feet with true faith and hope our dear Savior will meet. A lesson
I think we can learn from these friends is to trust and have faith in our
Lord to the end.
