We're not alone on this planet so small
Our Lord stands beside us so gentle so tall.
He holds our small hand in his mighty grip
To keep us safe so that we don't slip

Help comes from him in all that we try
Just ask him he will tell you why
His love never ends it goes on and on
Like the soft refrains of a time worn song.

The morning sun reveals his face
As he stands with us in all his grace
His beauty is shone in the bright noon hour
Or in the snow or a springtime shower.

Nature abounds with his glory to see
A soft rose petal, a majestic tree.
He painted the flowers with the sweep of his hand
He filled the seas and brushed them with sand.

Mighty rivers of water he did supply
To an earth that was barren dusty and dry.
Fish in the ocean, birds on the rise
From the uprising thermals to soar on high

Voices he gave so that men could sing
Of the glory and majesty of our Lord and King.
Children filled with awe and delight
They scramble about, they even may fight.

The highways the byways the cities so tall
A cool autumn morning, the colors of fall.
Medical miracles we all know about
Were given by God just to help out.

But the most precious thing he gave to this stranger
Was a new baby child born in a manger
Jesus the Son was given by him
So that we may never be lost in sin.

To live on forever in his glory to be
To live on forever in eternity.
