The scriptures speak of a young man that was very wealthy,
and was very concerned about what he must do to
enter the Kingdom Of Heaven. He had heard about Jesus
and he knew he was coming to his town. As Jesus was entering
his town, the young man approached him.

How asked the man who was wealthy Of Jesus whom he came to see
Can I live on forever?
To Live for eternity.

Jesus answered this stranger His answer was plain as could be
Turn loose of your riches
Bend on your knee
Turn and follow me.

What must I do to be Holy? What must I do to be free?
How can I live on forever?
How do I live on with thee?

Jesus answered this stranger His answer was plain as could be

This man like so many others Couldn't tear himself loose from his gain
He turned his back on Jesus
Walking away in shame.

Jesus called to this stranger His call was plain as could be
Turn loose of your riches
Bend on you knee
Turn and follow me.

Jesus stood there alone his heart broken Why could this man not see?
That Jesus not power or riches
Forgives sin to set us free.

The answer he gave to this stranger This answer he give you and me
Turn loose of your riches
Bend on your knee
Turn and follow me.
